POST : Scientific Officer (Electrical)

Department: Department of Consumer Affairs

Pay Level : Level- 8 in the pay matrix of 7th CPC

AGE LIMIT: Not exceeding 33 years for OBC candidates as on normal closing date in respect of vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/ UT Government Servant upto five years as per instructions/order issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualification (s) : (A ) EDUCATIONAL Master’s Degree in Physics or Degree in Electrical Engineering or Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.
(B) EXPERIENCE One year’s experience in advanced electrical or electronics measurements in a Laboratory or one year’s experience in the field of testing and development of Electrical Stores like motors or switchgears or Lamp and Photometry or Batteries or Cables or Electrical Accessories etc. Experience in calibration of Electrical measuring instruments and equipments as per Indian Standard or International Standardization Organization or International Electro technical Commission Norms.
Note:- (i) The qualification are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission in case of candidates

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: The responsibilities of Scientific Officer includes testing & evaluation of concerned laboratory samples and Scientific Officer will work in connection with the Development of Testing methods for these materials. Scientific Officer will also be responsible for performing the day to day work of Scientist B in his absence including issuing the samples to Scientific Assistant & Signing the fair Test Certificate.

POST : Technical Officer in Computer & System Division

Department: Ministry of Home Affairs(Women Safety)

Pay Level : Pay Level - 7 in pay matrix of 7th CPC

AGE LIMIT: Not exceeding 30 years as on normal closing date. EDUCATIONAL Master’s Degree in Computer Application or Information Technology or Computer Science from a recognized University or Institute. OR Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Bachelor’s Degree in Technology in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Computer Technology or Computer Science and Engineering or Information Technology from a recognized University or Institute. Note- (i) The qualification are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission in case of candidates otherwise well qualified. (ii) The degrees obtained through distance education mode should be in accordance with the territorial jurisdiction policy of UGC.

DUTIES: (i) Procurement, maintenance and upkeep of hardware & software including network maintenance. (ii) Documentation, Development and maintenance of CCTNS/ICJS and related application and other decision support systems. (iii) Preparation of study material and conducting training for functional level Officers. (iv) Customization of CCTNS/ICJS and related application and other decision support systems as per States’ requirements. (v) Implementation of systems (vi) Providing support for users of CCTNS/ICJS and related application and other decision support systems. (vii) Assistance in administration of Data Centre and Network assistance.

POST : Senior Lecturer (Obstetrics & Gynaecology)

No. of Vacancy: 01 (OBC), UR(02)

Pay Level : Level-11 of the Central Pay Scales plus such allowances as may be sanctioned by the Government from time to time plus NPA as per Rules.

AGE LIMIT : Not exceeding 50 years as on the normal closing date. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/ U.T. Government Servant upto Five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time.

A. EDUCATIONAL (i) A basic University or equivalent qualification included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956 and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register. (ii) M.D.( Obstetrics & Gynaecology)/ M.S.( Obstetrics & Gynaecology) from a recognized University/ Institution or equivalent. B. EXPERIENCE Three years’ teaching experience in the concerned Specialty after acquiring postgraduate qualification as Lecturer/ Registrar/ Senior Resident/ Demonstrator/ Tutor in a Recognized Medical College/ Teaching Institution. NOTE- 1 The qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
