Candidates aspiring to become Assistant Commandants (Group A Officers) in BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP and SSB can now apply online.

Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
- Must be a citizen of India
- Subjects of Nepal or Bhutan are also eligible (as per rules)
Age Limit (As on 1 August 2026)
- Minimum Age: 20 Years
- Maximum Age: 25 Years
- Born between 2 August 2001 and 1 August 2006
Age Relaxation
- SC/ST: 5 Years
- OBC: 3 Years
- Ex-Servicemen: As per Government norms
- Civilian Central Government Employees: Up to 5 Years
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university. Final year students may also apply, subject to submission of proof later.

- General/OBC/EWS: ₹200
- SC/ST/Female Candidates: Exempted (No Fee)
- Payment Mode: Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card / UPI
Note: Fee once paid will not be refunded.
Selection Process
The selection process consists of the following stages:
1. Written Examination
- Paper I: General Ability & Intelligence (250 Marks)
- Paper II: General Studies, Essay & Comprehension (200 Marks)
- Negative Marking: 0.33 marks deducted for each wrong answer
2. Physical Standards Test (PST)
3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
For Male Candidates:
- 100 Meter Race – 16 seconds
- 800 Meter Race – 3 min 45 sec
- Long Jump – 3.5 meters
- Shot Put – 4.5 meters
For Female Candidates:
- 100 Meter Race – 18 seconds
- 800 Meter Race – 4 min 45 sec
- Long Jump – 3.0 meters
4. Interview / Personality Test
150 Marks
5. Medical Examination
Final Merit List will be prepared based on Written Exam + Interview marks.
