Vacancy Details

C-DAC is recruiting for three high-profile Executive Director roles:

  1. Executive Director (Centre Head, Pune)

    • Location: Pune
    • Position: Regular
    • Salary: ₹1,44,200 – ₹2,18,200 per month (Pay Level 14)

  2. Executive Director (Centre Head, Mumbai)

    • Location: Mumbai
    • Position: Regular
    • Salary: ₹1,44,200 – ₹2,18,200 per month (Pay Level 14)

  3. Executive Director (Corporate & Govt. Business)

    • Location: Pune or Delhi
    • Position: Continuing Contract (5 years, renewable based on performance)
    • Salary: ₹1,44,200 – ₹2,18,200 per month (Pay Level 14)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Executive Director (Centre Head):

  • Serve as the head of the respective C-DAC centre and manage all scientific, technical, administrative, and financial operations.
  • Lead strategic planning for growth and technological innovation.
  • Foster collaborations and engagement with stakeholders, including the government and industry.
  • Drive intellectual property creation and ensure revenue generation.
  • Oversee risk management, operational efficiency, and technological advancements.

2. Executive Director (Corporate & Govt. Business):

  • Lead corporate and government business initiatives, with a focus on revenue growth and strategic partnerships.
  • Oversee product development, service delivery, and business operations.
  • Ensure the financial sustainability of C-DAC’s products and services by identifying and leveraging market opportunities.
  • Drive innovation and promote cutting-edge technology solutions to corporate and government clients.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Education: The candidate must possess qualifications from a UGC-recognized university or AICTE-approved courses from autonomous institutions. Only full-time regular courses will be considered.
  • Experience: Relevant post-qualification experience in Government departments, large private organizations, or Public Sector Enterprises.
  • Age Limit:
    • For Direct Recruitment: Not exceeding 58 years as of the closing date.
    • For Deputation/Transfer (Absorption): Central/State Government employees or PSU employees with analogous positions or with at least 5 years of service in Pay Level 13A.

    • Key Skills Required:

  • Strategic Planning and leadership in driving technology initiatives.
  • Operational Management to oversee the day-to-day functioning of the centre or business unit.
  • Stakeholder Engagement with government, industry, and academia.
  • Financial Acumen to ensure fiscal discipline and revenue generation.
  • Innovation Mindset to drive cutting-edge research and development projects.

    • Age Relaxation:

  • Government employees are eligible for 5 years of age relaxation.
  • Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates will receive an additional 10-year relaxation.
  • Ex-servicemen can also avail relaxation as per government rules.

    4. Pay the Application Fee: A non-refundable fee of ₹500 is required for the application (except for PwD candidates and women, who are exempted).

    Selection Process:

  • Initial screening based on qualifications and experience.
