After the completion of all stages including Document Verification and Medical Examination (DME/RME), the Commission has published the list of candidates provisionally recommended for appointment to various posts under the examination.

Tie-Breaking Criteria
In cases where two or more candidates secured equal aggregate marks (Paper-I + Paper-II), the tie was resolved by applying the following criteria sequentially:
Marks in Paper-II.
Date of Birth (older candidates placed higher).
Alphabetical order of candidates’ names.
Results Kept Withheld
94 candidates – due to court cases.
26 candidates – withheld for other reasons.
30 candidates – debarred for malpractices.

Departmental Vacancies
As per Para 16.11 of the examination notice, the final result for departmental vacancies of Delhi Police will be processed separately by Delhi Police based on candidates’ performance in Computer Based Examinations. Hence, these vacancies have not been included in the SSC’s final result.
Legal Note
The final result is subject to the outcome of Writ Petition No. 40316 of 2025 (Abhishek Khatana vs Union of India and Others) pending before the High Court of Madhya Pradesh, Gwalior Bench.
Important Advisory for Selected Candidates
If a selected candidate does not receive any communication from SSC or the concerned department within six months of the result declaration, they must inform the User Department immediately.
