Pay Scale: Pay Level – 10 in pay matrix

Age Limit:

  • Not exceeding 35 years as on the normal closing date.
  • Relaxation for SC/ST candidates up to 40 years for reserved vacancies.
  • Central Government Servants may receive up to a five-year age relaxation.

    • Essential Qualifications:

    Essential Qualifications: Educational: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E. or B.Tech) or B.Sc (Engg) in fields such as Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electronics and Telecommunication, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Technology, Information Technology, or Software Engineering from a recognized University. OR, Associate Membership of the Institute of Engineers (AMIE) in Electronics and Communications Engineering or Graduate Ship awarded by AMIETE in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. OR, Master of Science in Physics with Electronics or Telecommunications. OR, Master of Computer Applications (MCA) after a 3-year Bachelor of Science in Physics, Master of Science (Information Technology), Master of Science (Computer Science), or Master of Science (Software) from a recognized University. Note: Qualifications may be relaxed at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission for otherwise well-qualified candidates.

    Desirable Qualifications:

    Specific desirable qualifications are not listed, but candidates with additional relevant experience or skills may be preferred.

    Duties:

    Supervision of operation & maintenance of communication network/equipment. Maintenance & operation of cyber security/forensics equipment. R&D work primarily dealing with electronics & telecommunication. Supervision of operational work assigned. Maintenance & operation of audio, video & CCTV equipment.
