The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially announced the results of the Paper-I exam for the recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). Normalization of Marks

As with previous exams, SSC used a normalization process to adjust scores due to differences in difficulty levels across exam shifts. Additionally, candidates who claimed to possess an NCC (National Cadet Corps) Certificate were provisionally awarded bonus marks. However, these candidates will need to substantiate their claims during the Document Verification (DV) stage.

Minimum Qualifying Marks

The Commission has set minimum qualifying marks based on category:

  • General (UR): 30% (60 marks)
  • OBC/EWS: 25% (50 marks)
  • SC/ST/Other categories: 20% (40 marks)

Cut-Off Scores and Candidates Shortlisted

The results were divided into three lists:

  1. Female Candidates (List-I): The highest cut-off for females in the UR category is 135.27003, with a total of 7,335 candidates qualifying for the next round.
  2. Male Candidates (List-II): Male candidates saw a UR cut-off of 119.80335, with 76,278 candidates selected to move forward.
  3. Male Departmental Candidates for Delhi Police (List-III): This specialized category saw a cut-off of 134.59289 for UR, with 188 candidates shortlisted.

Next Steps: PET/PST

Candidates who have cleared Paper-I are now eligible to appear for the Physical Endurance Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST), which will be conducted by the CAPFs. The schedule for these physical tests will be announced by SSC’s Regional Offices in the near future.
